The “ Involving Youth in Local Governance in Armenia” grant project was successfully implemented in the Amasia community of the Shirak region, Republic of Armenia. The project was carried out by “The A. D. Sakharov Armenian Human Rights Protection Centre” NGO, with financial support from the United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF).
Within the framework of the project, a small outdoor library, an information board, a gazebo, benches, directional signposts, and a covered trash bin were installed in the community. This initiative has created a more comfortable, educational, and active public environment for the residents, especially the youth.
Project representatives and sponsors attended the opening event. They toured the area, familiarized themselves with the completed work, and highly praised the initiative.
This newly established, beautiful environment will serve as a unique corner for reading, meetings, socializing, and an active community life.
