On the initiative of the Gegharkunik branch of the “The A.D. Sakharov Armenian Human Rights Protection Centre” NGO, a conference titled “Artificial Intelligence: Developments, Opportunities, and Applications” was held at the Vazgen Petrosyan Gegharkunik Regional Library. The event was organized within the framework of the “Protection of Human Rights and Strengthening Civil Society” project, funded by the German organization Brot für die Welt (Bread for the World).
The keynote speaker of the conference was Varazdat Avetisyan, PhD in Technical Sciences and an AI research expert.
He presented current developments and practical opportunities in the field of artificial intelligence, as well as modern AI tools and platforms, highlighting the nuances of their effective and responsible utilization. Participants were introduced to the fundamental principles of AI and the capabilities of generative AI, and discussed its impact on education, employment, and business sectors.
The conference concluded with an engaging Q&A session and active discussions.
