Initiated by the Syunik Branch of the “The A.D. Sakharov Armenian Centre for the Protection of Human Rights” NGO, a media literacy training session was held at the “GorisLAB” Community Development Center NGO. The session was conducted by Anahit Baghdasaryan, Project Manager at “GorisLAB” and journalist.
During the course, participants discussed the importance of media literacy and critical thinking, as well as methods for assessing the reliability of information sources and identifying fake or manipulative information. Through practical exercises, the training addressed manipulative headlines, emotional influence techniques, generalized statements, and fact-checking methods.
Special focus was also given to digital security, personal data protection, and the use of passwords and two-factor authentication (2FA).
