Innovative Project in Amasia

A town hall meeting was held at the Amasia Community Library, bringing together the staff of the Amasia Municipality—led by Head of the Community Jemma Harutyunyan—local council members, representatives from the Shirak Regional Administration, administrative leaders, local entrepreneurs, civil society representatives, school principals, and active local youth.

During the meeting, three project ideas chosen during preliminary discussions were presented. These proposals covered diverse areas, ranging from the revitalization of public spaces to the development of sports and cultural infrastructure.

Each group detailed their project, highlighting its innovative aspects, implementation plans, and expected outcomes. Following the presentations, the attendees voted on the proposals.

The project that received the highest number of votes will be finalized and funded, after which the implementation phase will begin.

The initiative is implemented by the Shirak Regional Branch of the “The A. D. Sakharov Armenian Human Rights Protection Centre” NGO.
