The north of Shirak Province possesses unutilized and yet undiscovered resources and opportunities. Amasia and Ashotsk are considered important areas on the tourism map, offering attractive destinations ranging from winter recreation to gastro-tourism. However, the mechanisms for action required to ensure sustainable progress are lacking. Individuals and experts who have been in the field for several years presented their expert observations on this matter. A thematic discussion was held at the Berlin Art Hotel, initiated by “The A.D. Sakharov Armenian Human Rights Protection Centre” non-governmental organization.
